Gypsum partition work in Doha
Create a more useful room or workspace with a partition planned around the way you use it. Discuss the layout, openings, board system and final decoration before installation begins.

Plan the division around the room
A partition changes more than the visible wall. Check daylight, circulation, air-conditioning outlets and access to windows or equipment before agreeing a position. Show the team a sketch or annotated photo and explain what each side of the new space will be used for. This helps identify layout questions before materials are selected.
Room dividers and office layouts
Gypsum partitions can be discussed for home rooms, office subdivisions and other indoor layouts. A full-height enclosure and a partial divider have different requirements. Door positions, nearby joinery and connections to existing ceilings should be included in the proposed scope. Where landlord or building approval is needed, confirm it before work starts.
Frame, boards and openings
The appropriate framing and board arrangement depends on dimensions, use, openings and the requirements of the selected system. A heavier fixture or planned cabinet needs consideration before boards cover the framing. Tell the team about shelves, screens, doors and other loads early. The quotation should identify the agreed specification rather than describe every partition as interchangeable.
Finishing the new wall
Agree whether the work stops at board installation, includes joint treatment and preparation, or continues through priming and painting. Check how the new wall meets skirting, floors and existing finishes. An integrated painting scope makes responsibility clearer and helps the two sides of a room look considered together.
Fire and acoustic requirements
If the project requires a documented fire or acoustic performance, share the specification before quoting. Performance depends on the complete tested system and installation details, including junctions, doors and service penetrations. Do not select a system from a generic “fireproof” or “soundproof” claim. Suitability, evidence and any required sign-off must be established for the actual project.
PLAN YOUR ENQUIRY
A useful first brief
Send your area, photos, approximate dimensions and the finish you have in mind. Mention access restrictions and whether the space is occupied.
Before work begins
Can a door be included?
Include the door location, approximate opening and intended door type in your enquiry. Framing, hardware, finishing and any project requirements need to be considered together.
Can shelves or a TV be fixed to the partition?
Tell the team about intended loads before installation. Appropriate support and fixing details must be assessed; ordinary board alone should not be assumed suitable for every load.
Is every gypsum partition soundproof?
No. Sound reduction depends on the whole assembly, adjoining construction, doors and workmanship. Discuss the required performance and supporting system information.
